The souks are rooted in the rural culture of the Moroccans. They are part of their heritage, but also part of social life of the countryside people. We invite you to discover the charm of the Rif's culture which is manifested in weekly markets of Chefchaouen region.
PROGRAM
We set off from Chefchaouen to explore a souk of the week in the region of Chefchaouen. Visit of each corners of the souk, cereal area, marriage area, domestic animals area and so on; all is a different world, meetings, sale and other needs. In brief, all the mysteries will be revealed to you.
After the visit of the souk and its corners, we continue to Talassemtane guesthouse to prepare our lunch after purchasing all the ingredients from the markets to prepare our dish of the day. The specialty of market day is definitely a fish Tagine.
We have our lunch and we go out for a stroll in the village to meet the rural people back from the Souk. An event which must not be missed
