During our tour, we'll visit Catherine's Palace in Pushkin/Tsarskoye Selo - one of the gems of Russian Baroque architecture and home of the world-famous Amber Room. Optionally we may visit Alexander's palace - the place where the family of the last Russian tzar - Tzar Nicholas II - spent their last months in Tsarskoye Selo, before being exiled to Ekaterinburg and executed...
We will start this tour at around 10 am, meeting in the lobby of your hotel. Our experienced driver will take us to the suburban residence of Pushkin/Catherine's palace, the drive will last for around an hour (+\- depending on traffic).
Once in Pushkin, we will firstly tour Catherine's palace (duration of the actual palace tour is around 1.5 hour). Then we will start the exploration of the beautiful park of Tsarskoye Selo, making a coffee break if you need one.
We will do quite a lot of walking, and but if you get tired we will make stops to rest and relax during the tour.
We will return back to Saint-Petersburg after 2.30 pm.
Where and When:
Meet up location: Lobby of your hotel. I will have a sign with your name on it.
End location: Lobby of your hotel OR any other location in the city that you specify (for example if you would like to do some shopping afterwards or wish to have a nice meal in a cozy restaurant)
Duration: 5 hours
Depending on traffic, we might spend a little more than planned getting to the residence, but on the whole this will not affect your experience of the tour.
200 Roubles - If after the Palace tour you feel like sitting down for a second and having a cup of coffee - then you are likely to have some expenses. If you can go on without it - you won't spend anything. Amount is indicated PER PERSON.
