Here you will find the last few Buddhist heritage places like the Kanheri Caves in the National Park. These Buddhist caves date back to the 1st century BC. Most of the caves consist of rooms for meditation studying and living. The various sculptures, rock cut Caves pillars and stupas are a beautiful sight to watch. The huge Buddhist shrine in one of the congregation halls is the highlight of the caves. If possible we can we can visit The world Largest Global Vipassana Pagoda it has Relics of the Buddha. The pagoda consists of three sub-domes. The first and largest dome was completed when bone relics of Gautama Buddha were enshrined in the central locking stone of the dome, making it the world's largest hollow stone masonry structure containing relics of the Buddha. |

| The Kanheri Caves are located in the re located within the Sanjay Gandhi National Park near Mumbai. If Possible There is also a lion safari which is an added attraction of the National Park. You will be taken for a 20 minute ride in a bus inside a lion enclosure. The lion safari is closed on Mondays. If possible we can we can visit The world Largest Global Vipassana Pagoda it has Relics of the Buddha. Global Vipassana Pagoda is located in the Gorai greens which a one hour drive from the National Park. |
