We'll see Tiananmen Square and Beijing's historical centre then enter the Forbidden City. You'll visit a hutong (alleys), the traditional (and fast disappearing) neighborhoods of Beijing and a courtyard house.
A visit to the Central Business District provides a vibrant contrast to old Beijing. No visit to Beijing would be complete without a stop at Wangfujing Street - since the Ming Dynasty, a commercial and shopping hub.
Along the way, we'll stop for lunch at a traditional local restaurant. |
