Peterhof is a unique gem in the collection of St. Petersburg's famous sights. Started by Peter the Great on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, it surpassed the most famous Versailles by its splendour and charm. Peterhof was the official summer residence of the Romanovs and now it's a huge museum-reserve with several palaces (big and tiny) and 150 fountains.
Fountains work from May to October!
During the tour we'll see the fountains, including trick fountains loved by Peter the Great and one of the small palaces.

I'll meet you at your place and a car/mini van will take us to Peterhof, a little town in one hour drive from St.Pete. On the way we'll see residential areas of the city and some historical monuments survived WWII. In Peterhof we'll see the Upper Gardens, the Lower Gardens, one of the palaces ( Monplaisir, favourite palace of Peter the Great or Royal Bath House or Cottage, which is a bit off the tourists regular ways). We can also make a break for lunch. Then we'll drive back to St.Petersburg (if you don't choose optional hydrofoil. See WHAT'S EXTRA section)

I am not permitted to guide in the Russian language in the museums - only English. In Russian can be only city tours.

Kid Friendly: Yes. trick fountains are great fun! But get ready to have a soaked kid. Dry clothes and a towel will help:) Or waterproof clothes if it's not very warm.
