The fastest way to explore Paris is on bicycle. There are many bicycle paths in the city and the city has created an amazing bicycle rental system called Velib for the locals and tourists alike.
Paris traffic can be slightly intimidating at first, but all you need to know is how to bicycle like a true Parisian would.
I will help you rent a bicycle, explaining how the computerized system works and then I will introduce you to the bicycling world of Paris utilizing the city's vast collection of bike paths, seeing Paris up close and personal from the street level. |

I will help you rent a bicycle, explaining how the computerized system works and then I will introduce you to the bicycling world of Paris utilizing the city's vast collection of bike paths, seeing Paris up close and personal from the street level.
I will meet you at your hotel at 10am and after a quick look at the biking map of Paris, we'll go to the nearest Velib station to rent you a bicycle.
The introduction to biking lasts for four hours and I will leave you at 2pm to a restaurant to enjoy your well-earned lunch.
It is necessary to have a bankcard with a chip to rent a bicycle.
The bicycle helmets are not provided, so if you would like to wear one, remember to pack it into your luggage. |

| The weather is always an issue when biking.Therefore i will offer this tour from the end of February till the end of October. If it is pouring rain in the morning, we can postpone our excursion and start in the afternoon, or we can change our plans and spend a lovely rainy say in Paris. I will in any case explain you the Velib system. If I do not have any other bookings, we can change our bicycling day. |

There is a returnable 150€ deposit on your credit card when renting the bicycle. It will be immediately returned onto your account, when the bicycle is returned.We can stop for a cup of coffee, park our bikes at velib-station. Then the fee starts from the beginning again. |
