3 days with Hanoi-Thay-Tay Phuong-Tram Gian-Perfume Pagoda. The first pagoda to be visited will be Thay Pagoda, lying to the west of Hanoi in an area rich in history. Tay Phuong lies just to the west, it offers beautiful architecture and ancient and unique sculptures. It was o¬ne of the first pagodas built in Vietnam. See the dragons and demons carved into the wooden roof. |

Day 1: Fri, 14 May Perfume pagoda (Lunch) 10h) 8:00 am Departing Hanoi we have a 2 hour drive through the picturesque countryside and back roads to the village of Duc for some refreshments before having a private sampan for a 1.5 hour ride along the scenic Yen River. Along the way stop at the Den Trinh, journey further down the river and arrive at the foot of Huong Tich Mountain.
Day 2: Sat, 15 May City tour Hanoi (9h) 8h00 AM Departure. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho"s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh"s house
Day 3: Sun, 16 May Tay Phuong pagoda, Thay pagoda & Tram Gian pagoda (Lunch) (10) 08.00 departure. We drive 30 km( 45 minutes) from Hanoi . The journey to Thay and Thay Phuong Pagodas takes you past what could be called typical Vietnamese village life. See the rice fields medieval looking villages and age old farming techniques. |
