Let's just say it makes a difference if it is the immortal Walt Disney doing the wishing. From the seat of an airplane in November 1963, Walt Disney's eureka moment came while buzzing over a 47 square mile tract of swamp land southwest of downtown Orlando.
Mr. Disney was also the consummate doer. His actions metamorphosed an inland agricultural center to a hub of world tourism. We know the "action" - four theme parks and so much more. You and I will explore the "reaction".
Gain a one-of-a-kind appreciation by strolling lush botanic gardens, take in impressive new architecture, and behold cavernous churches, tour picturesque colleges, and witness abundant bird and animal life. The backdrop to this private tour is Orlando's beautiful, blue lakes.
Let's get beyond the theme parks and experience the other "magic" that waits.

As a private driving tour, our itinerary is customizable to fit your needs and interests. There will be plenty of photo opportunities.
Here is the route:
- Orlando: We slip into Center City -viewing cultural hot spots.
- Stroll "the jewel" of Orlando - Lake Eola
- The color at Leu Gardens
- Winter Park: The Cultural Heart - Rollins College and Moser Museum's Tiffany collection.
- Maitland: The Audubon Center for Birds of Prey - it's a "hoot"
- Eatonville: Zora Neale Hurston's legacy - oldest incorporated African American municipality in the USA.
- Break Southern Style Food
- Longwood: A Microcosm of Central Florida History
- Apopka: Slip your toes into Wekiva Springs, a 42 million gallon per day magnitude 1 spring.
Customize: You may elect to stay longer at a few locations, or crank up the tempo to get a grand overview of this region.
Weather: Rainy season is May through August. Showers typically occur in mid to late afternoon. We have many options to keep you dry and thoroughly engaged in your tour. |

Meet up location: In the Orlando area, I will come to your hotel. This six hour tour starts at 9:00 AM. I request that all participants be in the hotel lobby 15 minutes before start time.
I will be the gentleman holding a sign with the last name of a party member.
Alternative plan: If you are driving to Orlando, I recommend that we meet on the benches in front of Mimi's Cafe, 4175 Millenia Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32839. (Near The Mall at Millenia). Same time schedule as above. |

Kid Friendly: Yes. Orlando is the theme park capital and children are welcome. I have a lot to share and will make it fun and memorable for the younger tour members. We prefer children to be three years or older. Please, no infants.
In Florida, passengers under the age of five need to be secured in a government-approved child restraint or safety seat.
If needed, we have two child safety seats available for guest use. Please advise. |
