We will start our tour going to Sintra, a wonderful mountain range with a micro-climate that provides it with 900 different species of flora. This place was chosen by our kings and queens as a summer place for centuries, and we will have the opportunity to explore its historical centre before heading up to the 19th century romantic royal palace of Pena. After visiting this charming revivalist construction, we will head to the westernmost point of continental Europe - the Roca Cape, were you can even get a certificate of presence in this place. Passing by the beach of Guincho, we will reach Cascais, a summer place resort developed during the late 19th and beginning of the 20th century, still showing its links to its past as a fisherman's' village. It's still known for the fresh fish and sea food restaurants so we can have lunch here.
We'll go back to Lisbon along the coastline.
