You'll see where German Emperors were crowned, where saints are buried, where the most famous and talented German artisans in history created awe-inspiring works and where the colourful markets have taken place for almost 700 years. We'll explore the enchanting Old Town with its fantastic regional food and drink and the greatest Christmas Markets in Germany (Christmas Markets in December, but Christmas shopping available year-round).
After a break for lunch in the marketplace, we visit The Nazi Party Rally Grounds, the largest 3rd Reich architecture left in the world. You'll see the remains of the Luitpold Arena, Luitpold Hall, Congress Hall of the Nazi Party, the Great Street, and former World War I military memorial, now a memorial to the victims of the wars.
We normally meet in the late morning and see the Old Town first, including the Craftsmens' Court, St. Lawrence Church, Holy Ghost Hospital, Marketplace, Town Hall, St Sebald, Albrecht Dürer Haus, and Imperial Castle coutyards.
Then we take a break for lunch in the marketplace before taking a bus out to the former Nazi rally grounds, including the Luitpold Arena from the film "Triumph of the Will". Usually the tour is about half Old Town and half rally grounds but we can certainly spend more time or less time in certain places. We can also include the War Crime Trials Courthouse if you wish.

Meet up location: At your hotel in the city center of Nuremberg, at the main train station by the Old Town, or at the Documentation Center in rally grounds.
End location: Back at your hotel, train station or Documentation Center

The tour time of 4.5 hours includes a lunch break at the marketplace.
