The manual production of crystal glass has a long tradition in this country. And, once you are here, it is a great opportunity to visit one of the local Glass Works. One of the traditional and most convenient one is located just about 25 miles SW of Prague; The Ruckl Glass Works, in business since 19th century! |

After being picked at your hotel, we will be heading straight for the Glass Works. We should reach the Works in about an hour.
You will be given a nice little gift from the factory upon arrival, observe a guided tour of the entire production line, explained the whole proces of production and walk through their factory outlet store with a wide choice of their products. If you decide to do some shopping here, you can take advantage of their low factory prices. You should be back in Prague just in time for lunch.
This tour can be combined with the tour of Pilsen and its world-wide famous, genuine Pilsner brewery. If combined, the tour last about 7 hours. |
