9:00 a.m. Depart Toronto to Niagara. After short detour to view Stoneycreek Battlefield Monument (National Site) continue along Ontario wineries route to visit one of the wineries in the region for a short tour and wine tasting, before arriving to the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Walking tour of historical and cultural centre of Niagara-on-the-Lake. (Oldest Parliament in Ontario, Bernard Shaw Festival, Prince of Wales hotel)
Ride along superbly scenic Niagara Parkway the unique Niagara Falls (passing Whirlpool area, White Water Walk, Niagara Gorge)
Arrive to Niagara Falls and have lunch in one of the restaurants overlooking the Falls. After lunch you will enjoy a ride on "Maid of the Mist" boat (May - October) to the bottom of the World Wonder. Take time to explore area on your own: souvenir shopping, Fallsview & Niagara Casinos, Minolta and Skylon towers and other attractions |
