Travel time between Toronto and Niagara Falls is usually about 2-hours each way. The most important local attraction to experience is a boat trip on the Maid of the Mist into the face of the thundering waters and the swirling spray. This activity consumes at least one-hour of you time.
Other major activities involve similar periods of time. Meals may be consumed either at fast food counters or fine dining rooms. Personal time is also a factor to consider: photography, shopping, rest time, exploring other interests.

Trains are subject to delays if a ship is in transit at the Welland Canal. Both freight and other passenger trains share the same trackage.
Motor vehicles are impacted by construction and the heavy volumes of traffic experienced by one of Canada's busiest highways. |

| The basic price for this trip includes these two components: 1) return rail fare between Toronto and Niagara Falls; 2) Return shuttle transportation from the train station to the site of the Falls by either shuttle bus or taxi. |

Visitors may select from a wide-range of attractions to more fully appreciate "the total Falls' experience".
Popular attractions include passage on the Maid of the Mist Boat, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara's Fury, White Water Walk and a Helicopter Trip over the foaming Falls and Gorge.
The availability of your time and the size of the crowds are the limiting factors. Most attraction fees are $ 15 to $ 20 per adult and occasionally slightly less for children and seniors.
