A Winery tour and cultural Montevideo City Tour a combination of city tour, with Winery (by Sommelier)and tasting.
We will ride in a private licensed car/van with a professional chauffeur to visit the 1805 year old Cathedral, Town Hall, Sarandí Street.
The Independence Square, the Salvo Palace, "art deco style". We will drive along the rambla promenade seeing Embassies, Mercosur building, Pocitos Beach, MVO Yacht Club, World Trade Center. We will stop at Virgilio Plaza to see the best Montevideo view. Then to the exclusive Carrasco Garden Area.
Returning downtown through the city, we make our way to the Parliament, a classical building with exclusive Uruguayan te and marble.
From the Parliament, we take the highway to the winery.
We will go to a traditional winery. Once we are there, we learn about the wine making process and the vineyards. Tasting 4 different wines and some cold cuts with crackers.

End location: We end at the Mercado del Puerto, which is in front of the Port. Or if you wish, I may leave you at the port.

The price doesn't include the ticket entry to the winery, and the snack including the 4 different wine tastings, some cold cuts, cheese and crackers. This is 27 USD each passenger.

Transportation Method: Car van or minibus.
Depending on the number of passengers you will get around in a comfortable car, or in a modern air-conditioned van, or in a bigger and nice Mercedes Sprinter air-conditioned van.
All transport for tourists must be authorized by Law, by the Ministry of Tourism as "Tourist Operators" and vehicles must carry blue or green plates. Vans and cars are authorized by both Ministry of Tourism and Montevideo Municipality. |
