This tour is for people who are visiting for the first time. We'll see all of the things you would see on an ordinary tour - they're certainly worthwhile. But I will also show you the special things that make Mauritius great.

Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests.
Here are the following places to be visited with a brief explanation on the site itself and what to expect:
- Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, one of the oldest gardens created by the French with plants from all over the world and endemic species that can't be found elsewhere
- L'Aventure du Sucre, a sugar history theme park
- Montagne longue, one of the highest points in the north where you have a beautiful view
- Lunch stop at Sable Noire public beach which is the only beach made of black sand. Not known by tourists but mostly locals
- Natural History Museum, the oldest museum in the centre of the capital
- La Citadel, also known as Fort Adelaide is an old French fortification used to protect the harbour from invaders
- Coastal road from Balaclava to the north |
