Hello and thank you for visiting my profile!
Experience, passion, and adventure sums it up when it comes to my personal interest in the diversity of things there are to see and do in Southern California. My name is Andrew and I am 38 years old. Born in Illinois, yet raised as a Californian, my thirst for exploring began at a young age. It was the numerous mountain biking, rock climbing, motorcycle riding, hiking, and backpacking trips with my dad, that helped set the stage for many excellent adventures once old enough to strike out on my own. Through the years I have spent countless hours studying maps, researching, and talking to locals in preparation to find obscure places that sometimes are only mentioned in the history books.
As a guide, I am excited to offer my clients an extensive knowledge of activities and places of interest ranging from the beaches, mountains, and deserts of Southern California. All of my private tours are broken down into categories and aside from general description, are completely customizable based on your interests, budget, time, and ability. My guide services are available to individuals, families, seniors, groups, and even those with mild disabilities (wheel chairs as well). Allow me to pick you up and navigate through stressful traffic to our destinations while riding in my comfortable 2009 full-cab Toyota Tacoma truck (with a good sound system), which has plenty of hauling capacity for gear, bikes, kayaks, and luggage, etc.
My tours are divided into 2 categories, which are:
• ALPINE, SUB-ALPINE & BACK COUNTRY TRIPS
• DESERT TOURS
Within these categories are lists of individual places with brief descriptions of each. Some places will take little to no effort when visiting, while others are very physically strenuous, requiring a dawn till dusk commitment. My tailored tours can be as leisure or as challenging as you want. Trip durations can range from half day, whole day, or multi-day excursions. Depending upon the number of people in the group, in some cases I can furnish clients with my own gear. If I cannot supply the gear, I know of several local stories that offer outdoor equipment rentals.

Oh I also wanted to add that I feel restaurants are an important part of a good outing and will be included in the itinerary whenever possible . . . especially ones popular with the locals. So my bottom-line goal is to make sure you have fun on my tours and as an added benefit, I get to have fun in the process.
