Welcome to Kochi. During this amazing full day tour you will see the Dutch Palace ( 1555 C. E. ), Jewish Synagogue( 1568 C. E. ), and old Jewish settlement in Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets ( in use here from 14th century. ), St. Francis Church, ( first European Church built in India and where preserves the first tomb of Vasco De Gama who died in Kochi in 1524 C. E. ) and Fort Kochi ( the oldest European settlement in Kochi, other popular sights and experience the best parts of the city with a local guide. We'll see all of the things you would see on an ordinary tour - they're certainly worthwhile. But I will also show you the special things that make Kochi great. As your private tour guide, I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Please let me know of any special requests you have. |

Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests.
The following is the itinerary which is customized to suit your special needs.
1. Meet the guests at Harbour/hotel.
2. Drive to Fortkochi enjoying the morning of Kochi thorough fares.
3. Arrive & explore the oldest European settlement by car or by foot.
4. Visit the Fishing village to see the operation of the Chinese Fishing Nets.
5. Walk to St. Francis Church and pay homage to Vasco de Gama at his first tomb inside the church.
6. Drive to Jewish Town wander around the oldest Jewish settlement of India.
7. Visit Jewish Synagogue, the oldest among the orthodox synagogues in the world.
8. Go to hunt gifts in Jewish antique/spice/tea market.
9. Visit the Dutch Palace to see the palace of Kochi MKaharajas
with 18th century murals inside.

I am authorized to guide historical monuments. I can guide tourists in Hindu temples in this region except the sanctum.
A few temples do not allow non Hindus to enter in side the temple. I will not be able to guide the tourists as I am not a Hindu. |
