Katakolon - the gateway to Olympia most visitors to this tiny port in Greece arrive by cruise ship to visit Olympia the birth-place of the Olympic Games.
If time allows we can also add a trip to a local beach like Zacharo one of the longest sandy beaches in Greece. Or a wonderful tour to award winning Mercouri Wine Estate for a tour of the facilities including an explanation how Olives are harvested and wine is produced followed by wine tasting.

A Private Sedan or luxury class minibus will be waiting for you at the port gates with YOUR NAME clearly displayed.
The drive to Olympia will take 30-40 minutes through the Greek countryside you will be taken directly to the entrance.
Your visit to Olympia site and the Museum's will take 2-3 hours
Afterwards you will be met again at the exit from the Olympia artifact museum.
If your schedule allows there will be free time for shopping, or lunch.
To complete your day side excursions are available for lunch & wine tasting with Greek music and dancing or a visit to a local beach.

Meet up location: The Port of Katakolon has 2 piers we will be waiting as close as possible to your cruise-ship holding a clearly printed sign with your name or the name of your Group.
