Prague has outside of the popular "Jewish Ghetto" in the Old Town, has other interesting spots associated with Jewish community. there is Jerusalem synagogue (Jubilee Synagogue of Emperor Franz Josef I. ) in New Town, not more than 10 minutes of light walk from the "Ghetto", yet it's rarely visited. There is another old Jewish cemetery in Žižkov some 15 minutes ride by subway and walk, also the New Jewish cemetery where Prague's greats like Kafka found their resting is only 15 minutes ride distant. With this tour you'll get the opportunity to see these places and learn about no longer existing ones as well as you'll get the information on Shoa and other important milestones in Prague's Jewish history. You will choose yourself which museum to visit today and what you leave on later on and will get comprehensive information about other tours in Czechia related to Jewish history. |
