During this amazing full day tour you will see the most popular sights and experience the best parts of the Old City of Jerusalem, or if you prefer - Tel Aviv-Jaffa, with a fully-licensed local tour guide.
This tour is for people who are visiting for the first time but can be adapted easily for anyone on a repeat visit. We'll see all of the things you would see on a regular shore-excursion - they're certainly worthwhile, but I will also present you with unique angles on sites as well as the special aspects that make Israel unique.
As your private tour guide, I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. Please let me know of any special requests you have and we'll include them in the tour or build the tour around them. |

This is a suggested itinerary - let me know specifically your requests:
We'll visit the Mount of Olives for a spectacular panoramic view and explanation of the city's development over 3000 years.
We'll descend the mountain in the minibus to visit the Garden of Gethsemane.
We'll visit Mount Zion to see the Tomb of King David and the Upper room of the "Last Supper"
At this point we are on foot to enter the walls of the Old City and see the major sites - The Western (Wailing) Wall of Herod's 2nd Temple compound, the Via Dolorosa - the route of the Passion, and visit the 1st Church in the world and the holiest site in Christendom - the Holy Sepulchre church.
We'll traverse the Old City markets to the famed Jaffa Gate and meet our bus.
On the return to port we'll pass the major sites of Modern Jerusalem - the Shrine of the Book (housing the Dead Sea Scrolls), the Parliament building (Knesset) and the monumental suspension bridge. |

My License allows me to enter and guide in every historical or religious site in the country.
The only exceptions in the entire State of Israel are the mosques on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which are restricted to Moslem worshippers. |

My services as your personal tour guide for the full day
Transportation to and from the cruise ship terminal, to, around and back from the city of Jerusalem or Tel-Aviv is NOT INCLUDED
Haifa has Car-hire options close to the terminal, you can book online.
Ashdod has no car hire facilities anywhere near the port.
I can arrange a driver with a touring vehicle for either port, and you can pay him directly. |

You are responsible for purchasing any items of a personal nature related to shopping, souvenirs, snacks, and restaurant meals.
Service gratuities are the norm in Israel, the level of which is at your discretion.
I can book entrances to specific sites with entrance fees for you as alternatives to any part of this tour that you may wish to change.
These entrance fees & transportation are not included in my Guiding Fee, but can be paid in Israeli Shekels, or USD or EUR to the driver and at the entrance to the site. |

Transportation Method: The tour will be using airconditioned transportation for the entire day, but most of Jerusalem's Old City is only accessible on foot and will involve 2-3 hours of walking but with MANY rest stops.
The Transportation price is per vehicle per day, payable directly to the touring vehicle driver and is NOT included in my Guiding Fee. |
