I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and currently working as a freelance photographer. My interest in documentary photography motivates me to "travel" in my own city, and hence I spend a lot of time "flaneuring" the streets and alleys. In my own opinion, I think such elements are what makes a city unique! What's so special about mega malls and international brand names anyways? ;D
Being a nostalgic person, I especially enjoy looking at the old things . . . and things become more interesting when they are (mis)placed with new ones! There are plenty of such in this ever changing city of Hong Kong, and I am sure it will be interesting for a visitor to explore the mix!
No travel experience is complete without TASTING the place . . . I like to take visitors to where locals eat, not where you'll find your next table with people following their guide books!
We also pride ourselves of our transportation system . . . bet it must be one of the most efficient and extensively covered systems in the world. Most Hong Kongers rely on public transport, and to me the experience of hopping on one is not only to experience the ride, but it is actually one good way to watch people and observe the people of Hong Kong!
I'm sure many of you who are reading this might somewhat share the same "travel philosophy" with me, and there's no better way to have a local take you around and have a good time! Looking forward to meeting you here one day!

- I was born, raised & educated in Hong Kong
however I am also Australian as my family moved back from downunder before I was born;
so I have no problem understanding the Aussie mate's accent! ;D
- I love the arts, and currently working in photography
- I love animals and cars
- I speak cantonese, mandarin and english
- my fav places (so far) are London, Okinawa & Sydney
- the most exotic place I have traveled to is Bangladesh
- I hope to visit NYC, Nepal and Italy some time soon
