Hi, I am Mie. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter with deep knowledge of Japanese history, religions, and culture. Since I was born, raised, and finished college (majored in Japanese literature and history) in Hiroshima, I have a lot of stories as a local guide that you cannot read in any guidebooks. I love to guide you around my homeland and share ideas with you all. I love walking, traveling, climbing mountains, camping, and meeting people from all over the world. I have traveled around Japan climbing mountains for over 40 years and traveled to Canada, Switzerland, France, Spain, Nepal, Korea, Hong Kong, U. S, and so on mostly for climbing, trekking, and skiing. So if you want to travel both in cities or in nature, I will be your best guide. I have been enjoying being a guide. I am really happy and lucky to see and guide a lot of wonderful people from all over the world and it is my pleasure to share the time because I can learn a lot from my clients. I am looking forward to seeing you soon. National certified tour guide Interpreter. License No.EN00241 since 2011. Coordinator for Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) *The Travel Agency Act prohibits including travel costs (meals, transportation and admission fees) in guide-interpreting fees. *Insurance is not included.

Hiroshima is best known as the first city to be destroyed by a nuclear weapon. Just after the day of A-bombing, it was said that no plants would grow up for 75 years in future. However, the city recovered to be the largest city in the Chūgoku region of western Honshu. Visiting some monuments and museum in the park shows us how precious our peaceful daily life and the world peace are. We can learn what happend at that day and think about what we can do for the future generations. You can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in a lot of green as well.
You will visit The Peace Memorial Park (2-3 hours) *A-Bomb Dome *some monuments in the park *Peace Memorial Museum plus (one hour) *Shukkeien Japanese garden OR Hiroshima Castle (Take pictures in front of the castle tower, visit the ruins of the Military Headquarters, Gokoku Shrine, and A-bomb survivor trees, etc) OR Orizuru Tower (admission: 2400 JPY)
