We visit the Market Place including the shopping area at the Esplanade Park, from where you have a view to the sea fortress Suomenlinna/Sveaborg, built 250yrs ago during the Swedish realm.
The unique Rock Church blasted into the bedrock + the Sibelius monument along our long coastline and park drive is worthwhile.
There is time for a culinary sampling of Finnish food and drinks. |
