Welcome to Halifax!
On this gentle two hour walk, you will discover important events in Canadian, Nova Scotian and local history (ie. the Halifax Explosion, our connection to the Titanic, the Acadian Expulsion, etc. ) as well as important people who shaped history (ie. Major General Robert Ross, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Titanic victim George Wright, etc. ).
During our stroll, we will also see North America's oldest brewery, Halifax's oldest cemetery as well as our famous waterfront. Along the way, you will learn why Halifax was settled, our role in Titanic aftermath, a famous harbour explosion, etc.
