come with me to the west bank of luxor to visit Medinet Habu temple . the name is commonly given to the Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III. This large temple is considered an important structure from the New Kingdom period. Aside from its size, the temple is probably best known as the source of inscribed reliefs, depicting the advent and defeat of the Sea Peoples during the reign of Ramesses III. The 150-meter long temple is of orthodox design, closely resembling the nearby mortuary temple of Ramesses II (the Ramesseum). Ramesseum is the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Ramesses II. Its design is an example of standard New Kingdom temple architecture. Oriented northwest and southeast, the temple itself comprised two stone pylons leading into two courtyards. Beyond this was a covered 48-column hall, surrounding the inner sanctuary.

3) Tombs of the Nobles :146 numbered tombs, most of which are from the 18th Dynasty. Here one finds some of the most beautiful private tombs on the West Bank.
