This tour can be taken in the morning or afternoon and is the perfect snapshot of the Cape for those with time constraints. Our route follows the Cape Peninsular coastline with its breathtaking mountain and ocean views. Along the way we travel through scenic and quaint towns, such as Kalk Bay and Simons Town. The tours focus is a visit to The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve (part of the Table Mountain National Park). Here we drive through the Fynbos (part of the Cape Floral Kingdom) to the tip of the peninsular and its dramatic natural setting, lighthouse and tourism facilities. Our return journey includes the famous Chapman's Peak drive and Hout Bay. Photo opportunities will abound! |

| You will be collected from your accommodation and taken via the scenic False Bay coastline. On the way we will stop at the shark spotters at Muizenburg. We will travel through the scenic and quaint towns of Kalk Bay (fishing village) and Simon's Town (naval town, African Penquin Colony) to The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve (part of the Table Mountain National Park). There you will have the option of taking the funicular rail, called The Flying Dutchman, (cost excluded) to the lighthouse at the tip of the peninsular or take the staired trail. Once there you will enjoy breath-taking sea and mountain views of Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Our return trip will be via the western coastline over the beautiful Chapman's Peak drive and through Hout Bay and along the 'Atlantic Riviera'coastline. |

Meet up location: You will be collected and returned to your place of accommodation - hotel, guesthouse, cruise ship etc. Please note a R100 (USD15) will apply if your accommodation venue is further than 20km from Cape Town CBD.

Transportation Method: I use a new Hyundai Starex mini-bus (7 passenger seater) with leather interior and air-conditioning. I have a Public Drivers Permit and the vehicle has an Operator's Card (registered for use as 'passenger transportation for reward') and has Passenger Liability Insurance.
For larger groups I rent vehicles and drivers from reliable service providers. |
