The Indians just want to live in harmony with the elements of nature...preserving their culture, their roots, their homes, their religion, their traditions, their language and always respecting the seasons and the land.
Besides the Guarani Indians tribe, at the Camboinhas Village, is a place of archaeological importance of "sambaquis", indigenous cemeteries!
Since Brazilian law recognizes the Indians their social organization, customs, languages, rules and traditions, the original rights from the land that they traditionally occupy, we should support their rescue in Camboinha district, in the oceanic Niteroi region. |

Crossing the Rio Niteroi Bridge, we'll have a chance to admire the Guanabara Bay and a view of Rio de Janeiro view from a particular angle.
This trip includes a very large architectural and social contrast in the only one Brazilian city, founded on November 22, 1573, by an Indian: Araribóia, baptized with the Christian name of Martim Afonso.
This is an alternative tourism with the MAC, Contemporary Art Museum, with the most modern architecture, the preserved nature at Camboinhas beach, also much appreciated by leisure and tourism, enchanting with its smooth and clean waters.
Once we reach a Lake, with the same name and close by, we'll be welcomed by the Guarani tribe that will exhibit their crafts, their lives, their customs, their music... Seeking the support of society for its preservation! |

We had a GREAT time touring with you in your beautiful city. Thank you so much for showing us all the sites. We especially enjoyed the Samba School farmers market, and Selaron Stariway. Of course Corcovado was amazing and feeding the monkeys on Sugar Loaf. We have great pictures of it all. If anyone should request a reference we would be happy to reply. You are the BEST!! Lance & Janette Murphy, Jan 2010 |
Even though it rained in Rio, we really enjoyed your company and had a great time with you. You were the best guide we have ever had and can't thank you enough for making our tour so much fun. We still laugh at the sight of you sitting in the pouring rain taking pictures of us at the Christ the Redeemer statue. We talked to other people on the cruise and they were not happy with their tours and some were even cancelled because of the rain. Len & Trish, Dec 2009 |
Neyla's personality is fantastic and we were laughing and learning the whole time. She loves her city and wants to share as much of it as she can with visitors. We had a great time, and highly recommend her to others. Tom & Rocki Blair |
