Kerala has over 900 km of interconnected waterways, rivers, lakes and inlets that make up the Kerala backwaters. These backwaters are a chain of lagoons & lakes laying parallel to the Arabian Sea.
In the midst of the beautiful landscape there are a number of town & cities which are Starting and end points of backwater cruises. Many unique spears of aquatic life and animals live in and along side the backwaters. Palm trees, pandanus shrubs, bushes & other leafy plants grow alongside the backwaters providing a beautiful green surrounding landscape. |

11:00 Am trip starts from Rajeev jetty with welcome drink tender coconut & Jasmine garlands.
Cruise through big canals, then entered in a narrow canal on the way we can see lots villagers, school, hospital & amazing backwater beauty.
01 pm we get lunch served in banana leaf, in local backwater restaurant, the family members are very happy to care us.
Then cruise continuous through narrow canal, we get village walk, we saw flourishing paddy fields, at 5:00 pm the beauty full trip ends. |
