Bhangarh is a town known for its historical ruins, situated in the Alwar district of the state of Rajasthan, India
Bhangarh is a place between Jaipur and Alwar in Rajasthan state of India. Today Bhangarh is known for its ruins where nobody dares to go after dark, but is worth a visit; in fact that place is beautiful, historical and tranquil. What remains is a shadow of a once beautiful kingdom.
There are banyans and temples and also Chatri (Monuments) can be seen up on the hill. There are very old temples of Gopinath, Shiva (Someshwar), Mangla Devi and Keshava Rail. There are lots of haveils and a mosque and a palace. |
