Once all participants are comfortable and ready to start kayaking, we will launch from the specially built kayak docks onto the protected waters of the Motlawa River starting our round trip paddle along the river. Enjoy an expansive view of Gdansk Main Town and neighboring yachting marina and waterfront apartments as you kayak past, and view major highlights such as the Harbour Crane, gothic walls and water gates, the characteristic turrets and silhouettes of major structures such as St. Mary's Church and granaries located on the Granary Island.
The beauty of the area and views are unparalled. You will have an opportunity to take lots of pictures. While on the water your knowledgeable and friendly kayak guide will educate you about the surrounding region, history and architecture while helping you further improve your kayaking skills. You will get from this trip relaxation, challenge and plenty of fun. Enjoy kayaking in a great place! I can also provide kayak trips for larger groups, custom and private. |

Transportation to the club kayak docks. Depart from kayak docks and paddle along the Motlawa River. You will pass near Gdansk marina and new waterfront appartments, in front of Gdansk Hotel which is famous for the best beer made in Gdansk, Granary Island, to the Olowianka Island with the Maritime Museum located in three neighbouring granaries, characteristic structure of the Philharmony and, if lucky, listen to live concerts, admire the medieval walls and waterfront gates, turrets and silhouettes of major structures such as St. Mary's Church, the Main City Hall and granaries.
While on water your knowledgeable and friendly kayak guide will educate you about the surrounding region, history and architecture while helping you further improve your kayaking skills. You will have enough time to observe nature and wildlife, such as indigenous birds. You will paddle under the bridge and park your kayak there.
After the trip, stop in one of the waterfront cafes or continue your exploration of Gdansk on foot. |

| Meet up location: I can meet you in the lobby hotel or any other location convenient to you. The cruise passengers will be met in the pier and offered transportation to the kayak docks. I will have a sign with your name. |

| End location: I can take you back to your hotel or any other place arranged beforehand (e.g. railway station) . Cruise passengers will be driven back to the pier where their vessel is moored. |

| Trips run from early May through early October. Unfavourable weather conditions (heavy rain, strong wind) might shorten the tour duration or even cancel it. |

| 30 PLN - Lunch or snack and drinks. Pint of beer in a private brewery. Souvenirs or postcards. Have extra money for admissions to the museums, towers, etc. if you want to continue the city sightseeing after the kayak trip. |

Free transportation in a private AC van from the hotel to the docks and back. English speaking guide. Parking fee. Hire of light-weight modern tripping kayaks complete with paddles, life jackets and safety equipment.
Last but not least - good companionship. |
