The Table Mountain National Park has many established trails all of which are no more than a maximum 45 minute drive from the city. These are walks on maintained trails and contour paths and not technical hikes or climbs. Depending on your needs and requirements I will select a suitable route. Please see the 'Customer information required' section and input your preferences. Alternatively, I will select a delightful route showcasing the Cape Peninsula's natural beauty. |

After collection at 8. 30am we will proceed to the start of the trail - a short trip of approximately 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the trail selected. All routes have fantastic sea and mountain views. We walk amongst a huge variety of plants and flowers (Fynbos) in what is part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and may be lucky enough to spot some local fauna. We walk at the pace you subscibe - usually that of the slowest group member. Numerous rest/refreshment/photo stops will be had. I will explain points of interest and aspects of the nature around us.
After lunch, at one of the many excellent restaurants, we will experience a variation to the mornings mountaintop walk by taking a forest trail or beach walk. If you prefer this can be substituted for a wine tasting at a local estate (cost excluded). You will be returned to your point of collection at around 4. 30pm. |

Meet up location: You will be collected and returned to your place of accommodation - hotel, guesthouse, cruise ship etc. Please note a R100 (USD15) charge will apply if your accommodation venue is further than 20km from Cape Town CBD.
Please bring with you: sunscreen, hat and wind-breaker/jacket.
Comfortable walking shoes are a must. |

USD 4 entrance fee, per person, if the trail starts in the Silvermine Nature Reserve.
As tastes and appetites vary, your luncheon cost is not included. |

Transportation Method: I use a new Hyundai Starex mini-bus (7 passenger seater) with leather interior and air-conditioning. I have a Public Drivers Permit and the vehicle has an Operator's Card (registered for use as 'passenger transportation for reward') and has Passenger Liability Insurance.
For larger groups I rent vehicles and drivers from reliable service providers. |
