The tour begins climbing to Monserrate Top to see the breathtaking landscape. (two tranport sistems to get there: funicular or cable car) The next step of the tour will be the Gold Museum, (closed mondays) home of the world's largest pre-Hispanic gold work collection, Afterwards, we will make a brief stop to learn about the emerald process. Then we will continue to the main square ¨Plaza de Bolívar¨ where you will appreciate the Prime Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the National Capitol, the Mayor's Office and the Justice Palace. Then, you will walk (or in the car) through the streets of La Candelaria, the historical district, and observe it's surprising colonial architecture and the district's different attractions, such as the Botero Museum, (closed tuesdays) the Colon Theater, the Chorro de Quevedo and the Eje Ambiental. At the end of the excursion, you will be dropped off at your hotel. note: Depending the weather and traffic, itinerary can vary.
