On our adventure we'll visit Old Town San Diego the birthplace of California, the breathtaking Waterfront, seeing five historical ships. Dine and shop at the Seaport Village, explore the historical Gaslamp Quarter and the magnificent Balboa Park, and visit the beautiful Coronado. |

Our adventure begins in Old Town San Diego, the birthplace of California. We will visit several museums to get a feel for what life was like in the early 1800's.
We continue to the breathtaking Waterfront, seeing the Star of India (World's oldest active ship), B-39 Soviet Attack Submarine, HMS Surprise, and USS Midway Aircraft Carrier.
Seaport Village is an incredible outdoor mall, with stunning views, ample shopping and a variety of restaurants, this is a perfect place to stop for lunch.
Then we'll visit the famous Gaslamp District, seeing such highlights as Horton Hotel, William Davis House, Yuma Building and many other historical buildings.
Next we explore the stunning Balboa Park, built in 1915 for the Panama-California Expo. We will visit the Rose Garden, Lily Pond, Timken Museum of Art and the Botanical Building, as well as stunning architecture throughout the park.
Our last stop brings us to the incredible Coronado, for incredible views, charming streets and the historical Coronado Hotel. |
