Come experience Colorado's center of history, culture and art! The capital city possesses a unique cultural experience not found anywhere else in the Rocky Mountains. This tour will begin where the city itself began, in Denver's well known Lower Downtown (LODO). After spending some time in the district, we will make our way to 16th Street and walk down the arterial that has been one of the city's primary roads since the turn of the century. We will then travel to the Civic Center, which is the center of state and city government, as well as the location of many Colorado culture institutions. Along the way, I will provide historical contexts to the area and make a stop or two in some of the best known restaurants and/or microbreweries. |

| We will begin the Denver's Lower Downtown (LODO), walking through this historical and upcoming district. Depending upon the time, we will make a stop at one of the area's best known restaurants/microbreweries. We will then travel down 16th Street, which is the most visited location in downtown, with a plethora of shops, restaurants and attractions. This will take us to Civic Center Plaza, which is the seat of State and City government. This picturesque location also is home to many cultural institutions. We will finish our day at the Capitol. |

| This is a walking / biking tour (depending upon your preference). Will continue with tour unless weather is too severe. |
