This tour starts from the tourist boat jetty in Fort Cochin. We walk (200 meter) along the Chinese fishing nets and Vasco de Gama's squire, to reach the St. Francis Church. After visiting the church and tomb of Vasco de Gama, we move through the old colonial streets of Fort Cochin(200 meter), at the end we reach at the Santa Cruz basilica. From there we drive to Mattanchery, the oldest spice trading center in Kerala. Here we visit local people's shops for spice and herbal medicines. By noon visit Dutch Palace museum and Jewish Synagogue. At 2pm Kerala style vegetarian meals served in banana leaves. On Fridays and Saturdays Synagogue will be closed. These days more time will be given to visit antique gallery. After lunch we go to Ernakulam, the modern city. In Ernakulam we will walk through Broadway and local Market to see and experience the local life. IN THIS TOUR WE WILL PROVIDE YOU AC MOTOR TRANSPORT FROM HOTEL TO HOTEL, (From any starting point in Cochin city to any convenient point in the City limits).

Meet up location: Normaly I meet my guests at the loby of the hotel ,where they are staying,if the hotel is inside Cochin (Kochi) city.In case guest accomodation is out side the city we can comunicate and find a suitable place for meeting, after finalising the tour booking.
End location: This information can be given to the guest,after booking the tour.
Duration: 4 hours
This tour can completed within 4 hours,as a half day tour covering only Heritage part of the Cochin OR you can visit the modern part of the city.But if you have time I strongly suggest that you may do it as full day tour of 7 to 8 hours.

In this tour most of the places you may move around in wheelchair but at the time of Dutch palace museum visit you may experience difficulty. As it has about 18 steps up wards at the entrance and to the under ground section 6 steps.
