Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city with a rich history and an amazing cultural life. My aim as a professional tour guide is to build a bridge between my culture and yours, helping you understand Argentina's history, politics, economy, social changes, and beliefs.
During the tour we will visit Buenos Aires highlights, such as the foundational site (Plaza de Mayo), San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Palermo, Recoleta, and La Boca, where you'll have the chance to see tango dancers in the streets!
I will pick you up at the hotel to start the tour (ask about pick up at cruise ship terminal/airport/other locations).
During the tour we'll visit BA's main square (Plaza de Mayo) and its surroundings, San Telmo (old town and birthplace of tango), La Boca and its colorful houses, where we'll see street tango dancers. We'll also visit Puerto Madero, Palermo and Recoleta.
Where and When:
Meet up location: Pick up and drop off at the hotel. Ask about pick up and drop off at the cruise ship terminal.
End location: Once we finish the tour, I'll take you back to the hotel or, if you prefer, I can drop you off at a nice area for you to have lunch/dinner, or to do some shopping. In that case, I'll give you clear instructions as to how to return to your hotel.

Restrictions:
I am a LICENSED GUIDE, therefore I'm allowed to guide in every historical monument. Tour guides in Buenos Aires are not permitted to drive while guiding. As a result, I book licensed cars/vans with a driver for all my tours.
The price of the Classic City Tour includes pick up and drop off at the hotel, private car with private driver (4 hours) and my fee as professional tour guide.

Kid Friendly: No. Suitable for teenagers. The tour is full of information about culture, history, architecture, etc, therefore little kids might get bored easily.
