Jaunt to Reis Magos Fortress, Natal's birthplace; a stroll along Natal's historic center, where the Church of Our Lady of the Presentation is located. Other nearby landmarks include André Albuquerque Square, Galo's Church, former RGN's Government Palace, a Columnata, Mussolini's gift to the State, and many neo-classical homes, dwellings of the local bourgeoisie.
Another interesting spot in this tour is the Mother's Square, where mothers gathered, during World War II, to receive correspondence from their combatant sons.
Finally, the Alberto Maranhão Theatre must be mentioned as an attractive visit in this historical environment. |
