Our day starts with the visit of a Roman catacomb (early Christian cemetery). It depends on the day we do the tour we will visit either Santa Domitilla or San Callisto or perhaps San Sebastian . This will also give us the opportunity to take a short walk on the Via Appia with memories of both SS Peter and Paul. We continue with the visit of the Basilica of StPaul without-the Walls built on the tomb of the Apostle. We proceed to the Three Fountains, traditionnaly the site of StPaul's
beheading.
Lunch at a local restaurant (not included) and the day will conclude with the
visit of the Rome Cathedral StJohn Lateran, the Holy Stairs and the Basilica of Sta Mary Major. |

From hotel we drive to the Via Appia and visit one catacomb there. Then we will go to the place were StPaul has been decapitated and visit the basaiica built on his tomb.
Pause for lunch and then two more basilicas, St John Cathedral and St Mary Major. If available we will also visit the Holy Stairs. |
