Welcome to Chicago! My names is Lynn I would love to show you around my favorite city in the world!
I grew up in the Chicago area and for more than 10 years I have had the honor of guiding visitors from all over the world. My guests have explored Chicago by foot, bike, bus, boat and helicopter!
You receive a welcome packet at your downtown hotel. I take digital photos and videos of your excursion which I download to you before you get home. Each guest receives a post card of one of Chicago's landmarks to send to a friend or family member or keep as a souvenir. If we need to use public transportation, I provide a 24-hour pass for the CTA trains and buses.
You can choose from one of several existing tours or a Custom Tailored Tour. I pride myself in creating a unique itinerary to meet your interests and needs.
If you only have 1 hour; that's OK; I can show you some of the "must sees" in the city. Want to spend half a day? Morning and afternoon tours are available. Are you ready to get up early and stay out late? I also offer full day options.
I welcome individuals and small groups and I easily accommodate children as well senior citizens.
You can visit the tallest building in North America and the Western Hemisphere or see the oldest home in Chicago. Want to see where President and Mrs. Obama live or drop by Oprah's former studio? How about tasting Chicago's original deep dish pizza or a Chicago-style hot dog? Maybe you've always wondered, Did Mrs. O'Leary's cow really start the Chicago fire?. I can show you one of the city's many unique ethnic neighborhoods or movie and television locals. Perhaps you prefer to discover the richness of our public art or see the beautiful places of worship. Want to take a leisurely stroll on the riverwalk or get some exercise with a bike ride along the lakefront. I will take your picture at 10 of Chicago's icons or offer a tour custom tailored for you.
I am a member of the Chicago Tour-Guide Professionals Association and affiliated with The National Federation of Tourist Guide Associations and the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations.
