This tour takes you up into the mountains south of Chiang Mai to experience life with the Karen hilltribe people. You will ride elephants, trek to beautiful waterfalls, stay overnight in a traditional village, experience lush nature, and end the tour floating down the river on a bamboo raft! |

Day One: Pick up from your hotel at 8. 30 a. m. Stop at local market to pick up supplies. Drive to Elephant Camp for one hour elephant riding. 15 minute trek to waterfall for lunch stop then 2. 5 hour trek to Karen Village for dinner and overnight stay. Karen kids will sing and dance for you around the campfire!
Day Two: Breakfast at village then two hour walk through beautiful jungle and refreshing waterfall to the meeting point for pick up and transfer to rafting camp. Lunch nearby camp then 1 hour of relaxing rafting downriver. Transfer by truck back to the city arriving at your hotel around 5. 30 p. m.
Please note that the itinerary may be subject to change due to unpredictable weather conditions during rainy season - June - September. |

The tour cost includes the guide and driver. Lunch and dinner on first day, breakfast and lunch on second day. Activities - elephant riding and bamboo rafting. Also includes optional pre-trek meeting at your hotel for Q&A with guide the evening before the tour. |
