This one-day tour takes you up into the mountains south of Chiang Mai to experience life with the Karen hilltribe people.
You will ride elephants, take a truck up to a traditional village and trek back to a beautiful waterfall through lush nature, and end the tour floating down the river on a bamboo raft!
Pick up from your hotel at 8. 00 a. m. Drive to Elephant Camp for around one hour of elephant riding. Take the truck for 45 mins up to the Karen village. 30 minute trek to waterfall for lunch stop and optional swim. 90 minute walk through beautiful jungle to the meeting point for pick up by truck. Transfer to rafting camp for 1 hour of relaxing bamboo rafting downriver. Drive back to the city arriving at your hotel around 5. 00 p. m.
Please note that the itinerary may be subject to change due to unpredictable weather conditions during rainy season - June - September.
Where and When:
Meet up location: Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city limits.
End location: Tour ends back at your hotel in Chiang Mai or any other location within city limits e.g. airport, bus/train station.
