This tour takes you up into the mountains around Doi Inthanon, south of Chiang Mai to see the life of Karen hilltribe people. You will ride an elephant, trek to beautiful waterfalls through lush green jungle, and pass through a traditional Karen village. The trek ends on a bamboo raft floating down the river!
- Pick up from your hotel at 8. 00 a. m. - Drive to Elephant Camp for one-hour elephant riding. - One hour trek via a high viewpoint and a small waterfall to the Karen village. - 30 minute walk to a beautiful waterfall for a picnic lunch. - One hour walk downhill through lush jungle to the meeting point for pick up and transfer to rafting camp. - One hour of relaxing rafting downriver. - Transfer by truck back to the city arriving at your hotel around 5. 30 p. m.
