After an early collection our route heads east past Paarl and through the Huguenot Tunnel into the spectacular Breede River Valley region. Here we will spend an exciting morning at a game reserve and have a taste of an african safari. Game viewing in the bush is the focus but we also visit the Animal Rescue Centre. After a buffet lunch featuring local culinary delights we move on to the town of Worcester. Here we will visit Kleinplasie Cultural History Centre and experience the colonial and agricultural influences that have shaped this area. Our return route will be over the scenic Bain's Kloof Pass and through the historic town of Wellington. |

| After an early, 7am, collection our route heads east past historic towns and through winelands. We drive under the mountain, through the Huguenot Tunnel, into the cliff sided and dramatic Hex River Valley which opens out into the spectacular, sweeping Breede River Valley region. Here we will spend the morning at a game farm which will include: a welcome drink, a 2-3 hour Game Drive with experienced rangers and a buffet lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Kleinplasie Cultural History Centre, in Worcester, and see what life was like in colonial times. Our return route will be via the scenic Bain's Kloof Pass and through the historic town of Wellington arriving back in Cape Town at approximately 5. 30pm. |

Meet up location: You will be collected and returned to your place of accommodation - hotel, guesthouse, cruise ship etc. Please note a R100 (USD15) charge will apply if your accommodation venue is further than 20km from Cape Town CBD.
Please bring with you: sunscreen, hat and wind-breaker/jacket. |

Transportation Method: I use a new Hyundai Starex mini-bus (7 passenger seater) with leather interior and air-conditioning. I have a Public Drivers Permit and the vehicle has an Operator's Card (registered for use as 'passenger transportation for reward') and has Passenger Liability Insurance.
For larger groups I rent vehicles and drivers from reliable service providers. |
