| Tour Guide Legal Requirements |
People guiding travelers in the historic places of Egypt are required to have a license from the Ministry of Tourism. Obtaining this license requires training and passing of an exam on both the historical sites and the language of guiding.
For other activities such as shopping and night clubs you don't have to be a licensed guide but you have to have permission from the tourism police. report error
