This one day outing takes in the best Auckland has to offer. Highlights include the One Tree Hill volcano and Cornwall Park, Sky Tower, Auckland Domain, the Museum and the waterfront to Mission Bay. We will also stop at lesser known spots to enjoy some of Auckland's unique and quirky sites. Visit one of our recently restored historic homesteads which also houses an amazing collection of New Zealand art. Lunch provides the option to try both the 'world famous in New Zealand' flat white coffee and fresh, tasty local food. This tour can be customised so please advise if there is anything special you would like to do. This is an intimate introduction to the City of Sails. Pick up and delivered back to either your accommodation, ship terminal or the airport. |

After meeting you our tour will take us to Sky Tower for spectacular views of the city, harbour and volcanoes. This is a perfect introduction to Tamaki Makaurau, the City of Sails. We will then drive along picturesque Tamaki Drive to Mission Bay, one of the most popular city beaches. View the original Mission House and the magnificent Art Deco fountain. A few stops along the way to enjoy the sights. Onto Parnell rose gardens and Auckland Domain, home to the museum, where there is the opportunity to enjoy the Maori cultural performance. While in the Domain we can admire the historical significance of the area, the Wintergardens and the beautiful fernery. A visit to Pah Homestead (closed Mondays) to enjoy the beautiful garden, restored house and NZ art collection.
Enjoy the drive through picturesque Cornwall Park to the top of One Tree Hill.
Then down to Westhaven marina before saying goodbye at your chosen destination.
Good options for lunch along the way to enjoy the local atmosphere and food. |
