Aside from architecture there is a strong manifestation of Brazilian art spread in the country. In the past years the country has been gladly meeting its past. We can find different periods of Brazilian history projected on the facades of buildings or in smaller art pieces that can be now found in stores, small art galleries, museums, collectors' homes and a few other places. Most of Brazilian art is reflected on clay and wood work. During this tour our traveler is taken to the best Brazilian art collection house where some pieces can be bought. According to the person's interest we may pick a museum. Regarding crafts and souvenirs shopping, Rio offers a good option in Ipanema hippie market (available on Sundays only). Other arts or preferences such as antiques we have several different markets on the weekends. It's a tour that we carefully plan to best accomplish our traveler desires. |
