The 6 hour, or half-day tour, has two options that go to 2 opposite sides of the island. One of them incorporates most of what's described in the 4 hr. tour but adds on either the Kaneohe Bay hike or continuing up the very beautiful east or windward coast. The second option is to head to the opposite, West side of the island also known as the Waianae Coast. |

| Continuing up the very beautiful east or windward coast stopping for many great photos, to the Macadamia Nut Tropical farm for free Kona Coffee, samples of numerous types of Macadamia nuts, shopping for gifts including some really great tropical flavored loofa soaps, and possibly doing the 1 hour tour (at a very reasonable additional charge) that includes a botanical/tropical garden, boat ride on the fish pond, some history, movie sites, and Polynesian dancing. This is a much better value than the Polynesian Cultural Center that the large tour buses go to. Then continuing on to Chinaman's hat island by the Kualoa Ranch. Option #2, the West/Waianae coast, the views and beaches (Yokohama)are wonderfully beautiful, and during whale season (Dec. - April) whales can be seen. Often times spinner dolphins are also seen just off the coast. If you're up for a fairly, most amazing hike and views of the island I'll gain entrance to the road up to the ridge where there are breathtaking views of the coast& Makua Valley. |
