We will see-visit-walk the most beautiful neighbourhood of Granada: the famous Albaycín. To experience the charming, narrow roads of this fascinating neighbourhood, we climb up until the mirador de San Nicolas. It's the perfect place to be if you want to see straight ahead the beautiful castle of Alhambra, and on your right hand a perfect panoramic view of the city of Granada.
I can pick you up from your hotel (if it's in the center of Granada). If you want we can meet in Plaza Nueva.
We will go up (wear comfortable shoes) through the streets of Albaycín until we arrive at Mirador de San Nicolas. Half an hour stay and we go all the way down (always walking). If we have time we will pass (we won't stop, unless you choose) the arabic market and tea shops, we will pass the cathedral, Plaza Bibrambla.
Then we will stop in a bar; we will drink and eat delicious tapas and I will say goodbye at Plaza Nueva. I can come with you until the door of your hotel (if its on the center of the city).
Where and When:
Meet up location: Plaza Reyes católicos. Or we can meet on Plaza nueva (4min.walk distance between plaza nueva and plaza reyes católicos). I can also pick you up from your hotel if you are living in the center of the city. Contact with me anyway for any other hours eventhought I do not have them in my profile, i may be able to make a guide during the week.
End location: Plaza nueva (central square of Granada). I can suggest (if you want) some things you can do and see after the tour.In the door of your hotel(if it s in the center)
Duration: 3 hours
It depends on your walking speed.If you want to take a lot of pictures with your photo camera(you can take all the time you need)or not.We will be at the bar at least half an hour. Weather normaly is fine.If its raining take umbrellas.Wear confortable shoes.We will try to avoid traffic.07:30 to 8 o clock is the time I propose(rendez-vous in Plaza Nueva).But we can start at 9, 10 or 11 o clock in the morning.Or you can choose anytime,I might be available.The earlier we start,less hot+less crowded.
Restrictions:
I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments.
15 euros - We won't make any stops (you will see many things and after my tour you can go wherever you want to buy something or to eat, etc.) I can propose nice places to eat/shop/drink. The one and only stop will be at the end of the tour where I offer you in a tapas bar a soft drink and tapa. You should have 15€/person, just in case you want to buy extra drinks, a snack, a bottle of water, etc. An entrance to a monument is extra.
What's Included:
1) I can pick you up from your hotel if you want (has to be a hotel in the city center). 2) Guide services. In the end of the tour we'll make a short break in a tapas bar. 3) The 1st beer (caña, tubo or bottle), wine, coke or a soft drink, etc. is on me. 4) A small tapa (sandwich, salad, etc. depends on the bar)- gift of the bar. Tapa is a small plate with typical flavours (food) of the city. 5)We MIGHT need 30 more minutes extra, or even more. It's on me - no rush. :)
What's Extra:
If you want a second tapa (or 3rd, etc.) you have to pay for it. Anything you want to buy from the small stores. We won't stop in any shop (unless you want to of course! We can change the program for you). Don't forget I am here to help you.

Transportation Method: Wailking. It's very easy to walk in the center of Granada. From plaza nueva we have 15 min, easy walk. Then we will start going up. Don't worry. The beauty of granada will make you forget everything and you will enjoy the Andalusian city sites.
The are a lot of steps and pavement made of small stones so unfortunately is almost impossible for a handicap person to make this tour.
Kid Friendly: Yes. If they can't walk (if for instance they are babies) and you can carry them, no problem with me. If they can walk, perfect. They will love it.They have to be strong enough (not too young) because they might get tired a little bit.
