Day 1: Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon National park, the highest mountain in Thailand and national park(approx 4hrs drive). O/n in Mae Sariang town
Day 2: Spend the day visiting authentic Lawa and Karen Hilltribe villages nestled in the mountains. Visit the schools, learn about hilltribe village way of life, how they weave cotton and make silver. Help cook the evening meal with your homestay family
Day 3: Onto Mae Hong Son (approx 3hrs drive)experience this traditional town near the Burma border, visit local markets and temples
Day 4: Visit Pai (approx 3hrs drive) enjoying the stunning mountain landscape scenery on the way. Optional visit to 'Lod cave'
Day 5: Optional elephant riding, then back to Chiang Mai (3hrs drive) |
