This is the comfortable tour program including the popular highlights of St. Petersburg and suburbs that are possible to be seen in two days without overloading your schedule.
You are going to see the following places:
Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Saviour on the Blood Cathedral, Hermitage museum, Catherine palace (where the Amber room is) and park, Peterhof Lower park & famous fountains, St. Petersburg subway (optional).
This tour can be customized to your specific needs and according to the actual days of your stay in the city (all museums have different days off).
DAY 1 We shall start at 8:30am. I'm going to meet you at the port near the ship, right behind the customs area, holding the sign with your name.
We'll begin with the city panoramic tour with inside visits to Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Saviour on the Blood Cathedral. There will be a number of photostops on the way.
Lunch downtown in the place of your choice.
After lunch we'll do the Hermitage museum visit. Return back to the ship around 18:00
Day 2 We shall start at 9:00am. I'm going to meet you at the port near the ship, right behind the customs, holding the sign with your name.
Trip to Catherine palace (where the Amber room is) and park visit (in Pushkin town - suburb of Saint Petersburg). Lunch in Pushkin, place of your choice. Drive to Peterhof. Gardens and fountains.
Subway ride (optional) on the way back to the city. Return back to the ship around 16:00.
Where and When:
Meet up location: I will meet you at the port by your ship, right behind the customs. I will be holding the sigh with your name.
End location: Return back to the port to your ship
Duration: 2 days
The first day is usually from 8:30-9:00 up to 18:00 and the second day is from 8:30-9:00 up to 16:00.
5000 Roubles - You will need app. about 3000 to 5000 roubles each day to cover the following expenses: - lunch in a venue of your choice - depending upon the place and choice of food it can vary from 300 to 1000 roubles per person; - photo permits in the museum will be from 50 to 200 roubles per camera, video permits - from 300 to 350 roubles per camera; - public bathrooms are about 20-40 roubles per person; - subway tokens (20 rub p/person), books, postcards and other souvenirs.
